The Family Crisis Center in Bastrop is hosting a fundraising Gala on Saturday, November 9, at the Bastrop Convention Center at 5pm. The Bastrop County Women’s Shelter, dba Family Crisis Center, started in 1981 from a coalition of rural Texas women with a shared vision of offering hope, support, and assistance to women victimized by domestic violence. The Center has evolved into a community leader in rural Central Texas. The Center offers victims of domestic and sexual violence safety, shelter, and advocacy.
