With SXSW starting tomorrow and our love for both music and technology here at Vintage IT Services we wanted to use this newsletter to highlight a few of the events that we are looking forward to this year.
We have watched the SXSW festival grow with Austin over the years and are excited to see what they have in store for us in 2018. We hope to see some of you there!
Security Series of Sessions
New for 2018, SXSW will present a series of sessions on cybersecurity from March 14-15. As people spend more time online and become increasingly more dependent on technology, it is important to explore the security landscape around these systems and data. During two full days of programming from the Startup & Tech Sectors Track, explore topics like cyber warfare, facial recognition, smart home hacking, food security, and more.

International Series of Sessions
Scheduled March 12-15, four days of sessions in the Startup & Tech Sectors Track will take an in-depth look at the possibilities and issues facing tech industries around the world. Some of the topics we see in this space include international investment opportunities, international business regulations and hurdles, innovative ecosystems within developing markets, immigration laws, and media engagement in the global marketplace. Come attend these sessions to explore new opportunities in new markets!

Music Festival
Each year the SXSW Music Festival hosts a curated mix of artists performing in bars, clubs, parks, churches, hotels, and more in our amazing city. This year’s festival will take place March 12-18.
