Skillpoint Alliance offers science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) camps to encourage summer learning. These are engaging, hands-on camps that expose children to the fun side of STEM through robotics, video game design, and solar design. Campers get to explore in teams, tackle challenging STEM content, design their own creations, go on field trips, get outdoors, and showcase their finished designs.
By incorporating innovative, real-world design challenges and using industry-standard software tools, Innovation Camps pave the way for collaboration with local STEM industry partners and focus student career trajectories on the high tech jobs available in the region.
Skillpoint Alliance depends on Vintage IT Services to provide the Managed IT Services and helpdesk support that keep the nonprofit up and running.
Skillpoint Alliance works directly with teachers, principals and district administrators to design, implement and evaluate these programs. This flexible model allows educators to build the program that best fits their needs. Training and materials provided leave the teacher equipped with activities, supplies and experience after participating.
For adults, Skillpoint offers NEXT intermediate job training. This program fills the gap for employees who wish to develop their skills for higher levels of employment. Classes are designed to work around work schedules.
