From Computers to glue sticks: donate to Schools

Giving back to the community can be easy.  Your new or gently used extras can be donated to an Austin school. Austin Partners in Education grants wishes from schools that can make a true difference by helping schools in the Austin Independent School District (AISD) become even more successful.

On the Austin Partners in Education website, there is a list of school needs that range from colored pencils to furniture. You can help a school fulfill its needs to make sure all kids have school uniforms or art supplies for art classes, or even have access to laptops to enhance learning. This is the time of year that school supplies are beginning to run out and many schools need glue sticks and notebooks.

If you have an item that is not on the wishlist that you think could be helpful, you can post it and see if one of the schools needs it. Any donation can make a difference.

Austin Partners in Education is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect the community to the classroom. Vintage IT Services manages their computer network.  They provide opportunities to volunteer as a Classroom Coach or mentor in AISD schools.
