Benefiting the Susan G Komen foundation of Austin, Project Pink is a brunch/fashion show featuring the work of local design students from UT, Art Institute, Austin Fashion School and McCallum High School. The fundraiser will be held at the W Austin Hotel on Saturday, Sept 21.
This year marks 15 years for Komen Austin, and the students will create outfits made out of former Komen race t-shirts. The students will be judged by a panel of local entrepreneurs including Ross Bennett, Sarah McLaughlin Reed of Sarah Eileen, Kendra Scott’s team, Allison Schickel of The Brobe, and Matt Swinney.
A live auction includes a couture gown, jewelry, and lingerie. In addition to brunch, mimosas, auction, music provided by DJ Lacey Kite, our own Sandra Antoun is the wardrobe stylist.
VIP tickets include bottomless mimosas, brunch, a raffle ticket, and swag bags. Tickets for the event: https://thebrobe.ticketbud.com/projectpink.
The Brobe was created for recovering breast cancer patients, and now there is a Mommy Brobe for new mothers. For more information on The Brobe, go to http://thebrobe.com/
